Access to computers and the Internet will be important in reducing disparities between groups. The modem comic strip started out as ammunition in a newspaper was between giants of the American press in the late nineteenth century. How did the information get there in the first place? Information that makes its way to the short term memory (STM) does so via the sensory storage area. Although those who had prior knowledge of soccer were expected to have a higher success rate, the researchers discovered that, in fact, their success rate was no better than those of the other two groups.
